Supreme Court

Federal Judiciary

The Trump Administration worked rigorously to reinvigorate the Federal Judiciary. In Trump’s first term, he successfully appointed a record number of Federal Judges to enact the Constitution as written by the founding fathers. Trump’s administration appointed over 230 nominated and confirmed Federal judges, with 54 judges appointed to the United States Court of Appeals.

For the first time in 40 years, the Trump administration filled the backlog of vacancies in the Appeals Court. In this period the Second, Third, & Eleventh Circuits turned from Democrat to Republican majorities. Three Supreme Court Judges were appointed by President Trump, making a conservative majority 6-3. The Appointment of Justice Neil Gorsuch, Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and Justice Amy Coney Barrett were green-lighted by Donald J. Trump.

“Law and order is the foundation of the American system of justice. No matter the issue, no matter the case before her, I am supremely confident that Judge Barrett will issue rulings based solely upon a fair reading of the law. She will defend the sacred principle of equal justice for citizens of every race, color, religion, and creed.” President Donald J. Trump September 26th, 2020.
