President Trump is well known for his affection towards the game of golf. Trump has been an avid golfer since his college days at the University of Pennsylvania, with a handicap of 2.8 according to Golf Magazine. Trump is renowned for rubbing shoulders with some golfing greats like Greg Norman, Tiger Woods, and Jack Nicklaus. On July 29, 2022, the Trump National Golf Club located at Bedminster, New Jersey hosted LIV Golf’s third tournament. The decision by the Trump Organization to support LIV Golf as a rival to the PGA tour was influential in the timely merger of the two golfing titans on June 6, 2023.
